Yes they opposed this folly in Iraq (and what sane country would send their troops THERE), but when it came to the real war on terror, they stood right beside us.

France’s committment is through NATO, not as a direct ally of the United States. All help is good, but France is hardly ‘charging up the hill’ throughout the world next to it ‘buddy’, the US.
