Out Until Friday

Sorry for my absence, but I just found out yesterday that my customer is flying in tomorrow.  It’s going to be a long week.

I just got home from work, and am going to bed.

Update:  I guess I should mention for our new readers that my “customer” is Lockheed Martin, and we are working on a contract that is four, yes FOUR, years late (due in part to us, and Lockheed, but mostly to a vile little company called -redacted- that has really been the root of the problem… bastards).  Every so often Lockheed decides its time to stir the pot (again) and I get to experience the joy of a ninety hour week.

Update 2:  I decided that I should probably remove the company’s name.  Sorry.

    It is interesting to note that the one pacifist among us does more to further the war making abilities of this nation than the rest of us combined. Not to mention work that benefits such good friends of ours like the Israelis and the S. Koreans.

    I personally have the opportunity to go and work for a company (civilian contractors) who do nothing but extensive background checks for the DOD, FBI, Homeland Security etc. and I’m tempted to do it just so I can say I do my tiniest of parts to support my country and the War against Islamic fascism it is currently engaged in.
