The field is certainly starting to narrow swiftly. How long before you see some McCain/Giuliani bumper stickers? Possibly sooner than you think. And would ‘the base’ aka ‘the conservatives’ support such a combo? It would certainly be an interesting combination to say the least.

Think more along the lines of McCain/Huckabee.

    As I said… enjoy.

As opposed to Hill and Bill? … I believe that choice would be clear. I have no interest in watching Bill darkening the door of the white house again.

Yeah, the nineties were so unbearable, when the worst things we had to worry about were where the president got a hummer and how we could spend our federal surplus.

I would hate to return to those days.

While I am sure he would be active behind the scenes I do believe it is unconstitutional for him to actually be VP.

I think Andre’s suggestion would be better for them strategically. Huck appeals more to the conservative and especially Christian conservative base. McCain/Guliani presents a real conundrum to the more conservative repubs. then again they’re not going to vote for Hillary.

It will be Hill and Bill in spirit and in practice but not formally as Bill as a VP. Any Veep in a Clinton white house is little more than window dressing and a Thursday afternoon lunch partner. In a post 9-11 world the woeful inadequate leadership and head in the sand policy that gave us 9-11 is hardly what we should aspire to. Of course, enthroning the queen of socialism and statism will give us someone far more dangerous than her husband ever was. It’s one thing to govern the country by Dick Morris’ focus groups and polls and quite another when the ideology of radical Left causes is the driving force. This country will wake up with one hell of a political hangover if they hand Hillary the reins of power.
