Have you ever met somebody from the hard left? Little Julie “Butterfly” Hill spent 2 freaking years in a redwood tree on top of a hill and she’s not even considered really “hard-core.” I know enviros that could eat your balls for breakfast raw and they wouldn’t even have to reach for the Tapatio. Shit, I’ve met rock climbers who will pull your flesh off with their bare hands just for chalking their favorite rock face.
We won’t talk about what some of the serious tree huggers will do.
Barack is considered to be a corporatist shill by the hard left. Believe it.

The quote is about being ‘hard-left’, not being some crazy, mentally disturbed wacko sitting in a tree for two years. Barack is the most liberal Senator sitting in that esteemed body and is about as baby-wackin’, squirrel lovin, gay kissin’, tree huggin’, Blame Bush for everything bad that’s ever happened in the world, down with Whitey, candidate we have probably seen for a major political party in the history of this country. The fact that he is not actively smashing storefronts and throwing molotav cocktails at moving vehicles because the polar bears may or may not be threatened by climate change does not make his a “corporate shill”. Though that apparently hurts his “street cred” with the watermelon types trolling the blogosphere.
