Now what is this guy supposed to represent?
Scott McClellan is supposed to have proven what with his book? Please help me with this because recent speculation aside, I would really like a fact or two to work with. The Washington Times is kinda wondering the same thing.
Scott McClellan’s most explosive charges about the Iraq war are based not on any new evidence but rather on his reading of books and magazine articles after leaving the White House and on a period of “reflection.”
I guess if it helps float your boat you can believe this guy represents something other than a nitwit. That he along with a few other presidential appointments (out of thousands) is illustrative of something. As we know Ronald Reagan was never portrayed as a bumbling fool who let his dishonest and incompetent friends run the country while took naps and ate jelly beans. Of course no other president has been accused of doing the like either. You say Harriet and Roberto. I say Samuel and John. The road goes ever on.
I guess the idea that a president should appoint people he knows and trusts to positions of power is foolish. Yep, lesson learned.
McClellan is a gas really. He learned things he says. Good for him! I guess that is better than trying to frame your political, your geopolitical even, outlook based on what you BELIEVE a person might be thinking, or what you THINK their motivation is instead of facts. Of course you can always gain insight by reading posts that make catty jokes about a guy’s weight.
Scott is nothing more than a minor footnote.
“I was young and I probably should have spoken up,” Mr. McClellan said.
No Scott, you should have kept it shut.

During my lifetime working with people I have seen all kinds and this is the one you see the most, they’re happy and goes along with everything and then one day the hammer comes down and he/she is drawing unemployment and boy are they bitter at their former boss that fired them. Just life I guess!
Scott McClellan is an admitted liar. Either he was lying when he worked for the White House, lying for money to keep his job, or he was lying in his book, lying for money to improve sales. The only question is: when was he lying?
PG, you’ve stumped me. Samuel and John??
That would be Samuel Alito and John Roberts. I know - I have enough trouble making a point. I shouldn’t try to be cute.
