Off to Vote

I’m an upper-middle class gay man, raised in a single-parent home, who is about to go vote for a black man for president at my neighborhood Baptist church, and the only thing I have to worry about is how close I’ll be able to park.

Win or lose tonight, I just have to say… I love this country.

  8. I couldn’t agree more with Andre. The fact that a black man is going to win the presidency of the United States of America in 2008 is an amazing story.
