Something to think about
I have not offered an “official” endorsement in this race and have followed it only somewhat. The following is offered here only for informational purposes and not to personally attack or advocate any particular candidate. Whoever “wins” this job has his work cut out for him and will have my full support. The key is that the incumbant is kicked to the curb, for that is one piece of “change” the GOP desperately needs.
The Case Against Michael Steele
Steele’s well-documented role with the Republican Leadership Council and association with co-founder Christie Todd Whitman is perhaps the most egregious political error he’s made. Any conservative who partners with the liberal Whitman must be viewed skeptically. Steele claims he was trying to broaden the party’s base by appealing to moderates. “We have to elect moderates in the party,” he told CBN’s David Brody.
