I’m voting for Mitt Romney

Yes, I’m voting for Mitt Romney for President of the USA.  Not because I am a Republican because I am not.  Not because President Obama has failed as a President which he has.  Not because the new special class of citizens now have President Obama’s approval for same-sex marriage because he had admitted to being in favor of homosexual marriages before he ran for President.  Not because President Obama has not achieved the unemployment percentage he promised when he campaign the first time because he has not and it appears that in September all his bragging rights will slide back down hill.  Not because President Obama promised openness and transparency then did the exact opposite while as President.  Not because President Obama promised to change the way things were done and achieve cooperation across the party lines because he is worst than any previous President and with in a year made this nation more divided than I have seen in years.  Not because President Obama brags about how he is for the middle class while making regulations raising the cost of goods and increasing taxation with his albatross attempt at national medicine because he has not helped the middle class which needed jobs.

Actually I’m voting for Mitt Romney because I think he will make a good President.  His character, his background, his previous success in business and governing indicate this.  I don’t agree with all he says but you know I don’t agree with all any politician says.  I sense I can trust in him work at make American once again the leading nation and at encouraging a vibrant economy.

President Obama’s experience is in Marxist thought and being a community organizer.  He has attempted to govern with the same techniques he used as an activist agitating community organizer just has his wife said he would.  It has been a dismal failure at governing but he really screwed things up with his activist agitating.  We need a President to build up America not tear it down as President Obama has done.

By a west texas view

Being pure Texan, James Tuggle, traces his families to the colonial times and later helping settle west Texas in 1853. Growing up in the desert part of west Texas give one a sense of openness and freedom. In the desert, nothing on the surface is hidden. He earned his high school diploma in Kermit. He received a BS from Abilene Christian Univerity and DDS from UT Dental Branch in Houston. He has had a wide variety of experiences in life. Having a fondness for history allows him an insight to the world.

  1. In addition to being an incredibly competent manager and administrator, Mitt Romney, by all accounts, lives Christianity moreso than a lot of people who are less than humble about being followers of Christ are. He’s a good human being. And the number of people willing to speak to that publicly is really impressive. Just due to the success in saving the international brand of the Olympics and making a steel company profitable with the Chinese flooding the market, Romney’s tenacity is obvious. I’m really not a Republican either, but he gets my vote despite some issues on which he is not an absolutist.

Hang on. This is going to be a bumpy ride.

    1. It is my understanding that this Presidential election is to choose our POTUS. Not THE PONTIFF – the head of the Roman Catholic Church and bishop of Rome.

More so, it has been my personal experience, that the majority of the so-called Christians I have met are nothing more than CHRISTIANS IN NAME ONLY!

As I once read “I wish I had met Christ BEFORE I met Christians.”

      1. I’m Catholic and know multiple priests who aren’t very Christian. At least two aren’t worthy of the collar.

He would never say if himself, but testimony from many people is that Mitt Romney behaves with the decency we expect from Christians. Because, frankly, we all know Christians who aren’t worthy of the name.

    2. Romney does NOT, indeed CANNOT, live any kind of “Christian” life because he is a MORMON and Mormonism is NOT Christian. Mormonism denies the Trinity, teaches that Jesus is the spiritual brother of Lucifer.

      John Lofton

PS — To say Romney is “an incredibly competent manager” is to say he is NOT a competent manager because “incredible” means NOT credible.

      1. In truth, in my life, the man most known for living as a Christian would and displaying the virtues that we as Christians value was Jewish. Honor, honestly, charity, humility, etc., are what followers of Christ should be and so often aren’t.

    1. What? I’ll take a Mormon over the Black Liberation, Jeremiah Wright theology choice any day of the week, and twice on Sunday. You’ve already told me you aren’t voting at all this time around John, so why the need to take potshots at those actually engaged in the political process? You serve absolutely no useful or positive purpose by doing so.

      1. No Christian may EVER play the “lesser-of-2-evils” game…NEVER! It is not a sin to not vote. And nowhere does God command us to vote regardless of the choices. Romney’s religion denies the Trinity and teaches, falsely, that Jesus is the spiritual brother of Lucifer. To vote for such a man would dishonor the cause of Christ…..and be stupid!

        John Lofton

  2. Ditto that Dave the Sage. And I really have had it with this MORMON BASHING, especially by people who don’t know a thing about it. ROMNEY/RYAN 2012.

      1. What I say about Mormonism IS true! Also, Scripture says none good but God. Romney denies the Trinity; says Jesus the spiritual brother of Lucifer. Thus, Romney NOT good because he is not Godly. Not rocket science…..

        John Lofton

  3. To put this presidential election in a sports context; “Would you rather have a Head Coach who is a delivers a good speech, but continually BLAMES HIS LOSES on the previous Head Coach for not providing him the BEST coaching staff and the BEST athletes and the BEST Alumni, etc, or would you rather have a Head Coach who has a WINNING history based upon attracting and keeping good assistance coaches and attracting and developing superior athletes, and developing a close mutually beneficial relationship with the Alumni?

When it is all said and done the question You need to ask yourself is; “Would I rather maintain my status que languishing in the quagmire UNDER Barry Soetoro aka Barak Hussein Obama, II (Or is Davis?), OR would I rather have a PROVEN LEADER who has a solid track record of creating wealth in the private sector AND bringing people together to turn around a GLOBAL EVENT such as the 2002 Winter Olympics?”

If you would rather languish in the quagmire of your current status que, vote for Barry Soetoro aka Barak Hussein Obama, II (Or is it Davis?)/Joe Biden.

Conversely, if you would rather lift yourself from the quagmire of your current status que, vote for Romney/Ryan as our POTUS.

  4. I want to apologize for not joining into the fray. I am only able to read five comments and get a gist of what a few of the others say. My remarks are being written from a unknowing stand point. For the first time since I started voting in the late fifties, I did not vote for the President of the USA in the last election and I I have regretted it and shan’t do it again.

The government is secular and its agenda is not a religious agenda. We are extremely lucky to have had the brilliant men who formed this nation because the only one in the Western Hemisphere any thing like it Canada and it is closer to its European ties. Even Mexico once had a constitution similar to ours but their elitist politicians voted it out and returned to European thought and ways, Only this nation has continued on the path of individual freedom of thought. We were warned by the founding fathers to stay on the path they designed but in the 20th century elitist intellectuals and wealthy businessmen began a slow infusion of European thought that had grabbed Europe in the late 1800’s into the Democratic Party.

I have observed over the years that the Marxist Democratic Party has slowly removed their rugged individualist freedom of thought types from the party and replaced them with a herd of elitist nursing from the udders of collective Marxist thought. If one for abortion doesn’t approved of the ideas put forth by one for gay marriage, they don’t show they disagreement but save them for the bedroom. Sucking from a common source, they seek only to win regardless of how. They are willing to use evil and unkind techniques to accomplish their goals.

I suggest we rugged individual types need for once to focus on winning and work hard to make Romney president. The battle after the win will be far better than the one we will have should Obama win.

  5. What you guys going to do when R-Rock “The Islamic Shock” Super Allah Hussein Soros-Bin-Biden-Obama gets a second term?

Just a reminder, Obama managed to completely reverse the economic implosion and pull us out of a near depression in 40 months, plus accomplish the following:

    – Businesses are sitting on record amounts of cash: $2T
    – Retail sales have reversed their negative slide
    – Most all of TARP has been repaid

    – Insurance companies can’t cap your benefits
    – Added $1.4B to veterans administration
    – Covered 11M uninsured kids
    – Lowered taxes 25 times

A few key stats to note:

    Gross Domestic Product
    – Nearly a +9 point positive swing in GDP
    – GDP decline when Obama took office: -6%
    – GDP last quarter: 2.7% positive growth

    Stock Market:
    – Dow Jones is up over 90%
    – S&P500 is up over 85%
    – My 401k regained all its losses

    – 32+ straight months of job growth
    – No longer losing 800,000 jobs a month
    – Now adding jobs at a steady pace

A decent list of legislation passed (111th Congress was one of the most productive ever):

    – Obamacare upheld by Conservative SCOTUS
    – DADT
    – Fair pay
    – Recovery Act
    – Credit card reform
    – Health Care Reform
    – Student loan reform
    – SCHIP Expansion
    – Financial Reform

Also need to consider the following:

    – Significantly increased funding for the Violence Against Women Act

    – Launched recovery.gov to track spending from the Recovery Act, providing transparency and allowing the public to report fraud, waste, or abuse

    – Provided the Department of Veterans Affairs with more than $1.4 billion to improve services to America’s Veterans

    – Signed the Children’s Health Insurance Reauthorization Act, which provides health care to 11 million kids – 4 million of whom were previously uninsured

    – Issued executive order to repeal Bush era restrictions on federal funding for embryonic stem cell research

    – Signed the Christopher and Dana Reeve Paralysis Act, the first piece of comprehensive legislation aimed at improving the lives of Americans living with paralysis

    – Signed the Weapons Systems Acquisition Reform Act to stop fraud and wasteful spending in the defense procurement and contracting system

    – Ended Bush administration’s CIA program of ‘enhanced interrogation methods’ by requiring that the Army field manual be used as the guide for terrorism interrogations

    – Established Credit Card Bill of Rights, preventing credit card companies from imposing arbitrary rate increases on customers

    – Health Care Reform Bill, preventing insurance companies from denying insurance because of a pre-existing condition

    – Tax cuts for up to 3.5 million small businesses to help pay for employee health care coverage

    – Tax credits for up to 29 million individuals to help pay for health insurance

    – Require health insurance plans to disclose how much of the premium actually goes to patient care

    – Most importantly, as Commander and Chief he has brought home over 140,000 soldiers.

    – Provided the Department of Veterans Affairs with more than $1.4 billion to improve services to America’s Veterans

    – Added $4.6 billion USD to the Veterans Administration budget to recruit and retain more mental health professionals

    – Provided travel expenses to families of fallen soldiers to be on hand when the body arrives at Dover AFB

    – Signed the Caregivers and Veterans Omnibus Health Services Act two years ago, improving care for 1.8 million women who served in the Armed Forces

    – Signed two tax credits into law—the Returning Heroes Tax Credit and the Wounded Warriors Tax Credit—which encourage businesses to hire veterans and those with disabilities

    – Implemented and improved the most comprehensive veterans benefits for education since the original G.I. Bill of 1944

    – The Department of Veterans Affairs would get $64 billion in discretionary spending under President Obama’s fiscal 2013 budget proposal, a 4.5 percent rise that includes an 18 percent increase in medical care for the growing number of veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.

    – Included are $200 million to provide grants and technical assistance to community nonprofit groups that help at-risk veterans keep their homes or get them rapidly into new housing, and $43 million for housing vouchers for homeless veterans.

    – An additional $21 million would create positions for 200 coordinators who would help homeless veterans with disability claims, housing problems, job and vocational opportunities, and problems with the courts.

    – An the icing on the cake, Issued the order to have Osama Bin Laden killed, which was a huge victor for America and our Military.”

  7. Men’s Ugg ” booties “: Men always look in front of you for casual style, ease and simplicity. It was Deckers, he says, that transformed UGG Boots Cheap into a high-fashion item, spending $7m on marketing over the past decade and sending boots to personalities such as Oprah Winfrey. The stitching trend and finishing touch from a real ugg is really neat and the thread raised for stitching blends aided by the color of typically the fleece.
