O: Sure We’re Gonna Keep Raising Taxes, But We’ll Ramp It Up Slowly So Maybe You Won’t Realize What We’re Doing

“There is no doubt we need additional revenue.” Of course you do.

Just in case you missed O’s pre-Super Bowl interview on CBS (if you were like Rat, you hurriedly changed the channel until it was over), here’s a “news flash”:

The Socialist-in-Chief made it clear that he fully intends to continue raising taxes:

“There is no doubt we need additional revenue, coupled with smart spending reductions, in order to bring down our deficit. And we can do it in a gradual way so it doesn’t have a huge impact.

As I said, when you look at some of these deductions that certain folks are able to take advantage of, the average person can’t take advantage of them. The average person doesn’t have access to Cayman Island accounts, the average person doesn’t have access to carried interest income where they end up paying a much lower rate on billions of dollars that they’ve earned.

And so we want to make sure that the whole system is fair, that it’s transparent, and that we’re reducing our deficit in a way that doesn’t hamper growth, reduce the kinds of – you know, strategies that we need, in order to make sure that we’re creating good jobs and a strong middle class.”

I’d compare this worn-out hollow shtick to a broken record, but that would be unfair to broken records.

“Smart spending cuts,” O? Seriously? What “smart spending cuts” have you accepted from Congress – let alone, proposed yourself?

And, your often-repeated but always laughable drivel about “Cayman Island accounts” and “billions of dollars that they’ve (evil rich people) earned”? Yeah – you better hurry up and raise taxes on millions of Americans so you can stick it to “all 3 people” who stash billions in the Caymans, huh?

The last line is nothing more than O’s tired laundry list of liberal buzzwords – repeated for the 42 millionth time – just to make sure that low-information Obamabots don’t stray too far from the reservation – given how ticked off they were last month when they realized their taxes had increased:  “fair,” “reducing our deficit in a way that doesn’t hamper growth,” “creating good jobs” and a “strong middle class.”

Call me cynical, but I’d bet that the community organizer has parroted these words so many times that he’s now on auto-pilot every time he mouths them.

Do us a favor, O: Please don’t do “as well” reducing the deficit, creating good jobs and building a strong middle class as you did during your first term, okay? I don’t think America could handle it.

Gleefully Exposing Liberal Lunacy on a Daily Basis! Mike's favorite target is the liberal "political lie," which he astutely defines as "liberals saying things they know aren't true for the sole purpose of exploiting the 'less than informed' for political gain." Liberal hypocrisy knows no bounds, folks - jump on the Rat train and come along for the fight!

  1. Hmmmm? On what they have earned, and how they pay a lower rate, ON WHAT O, they have already paid their taxes on the money THEY EARNED ONCE, this is nothing more than paying twice. What an absolute blow hard IDIOT. And if I hear the “buzz word” “middle class” I will seriously PUKE.

@ Justturnright, that’s funny because I thought the same thing! I think they avoided DUBYA like the plague during his tenure in the WH.
And I LOVE how they conveniently didn’t start screaming about broken promises of not raising taxes like the ratfinks do when it happens to be a GOP’er…*sigh*

  3. Need more revenue? Well, what are the streams? The tariff, leases on the oil fields, government bonds…all either off limits or dead. No, we MUST tax the people into poverty.

And then they will have run out of our money. Idiot.

  4. Of course he’s on autopilot! He hasn’t changed his line since 2006 when he first announced his plan to run for the Presidency. It’s always been, in one form or another, “The rich aren’t paying their fair share. I’ll make them.” The only thing missing? What he didn’t add: “Even if I have to destroy this country to do it.”

“Socialism,” said Churchill, “is the philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, the gospel of envy.”

Remember when Democrats and Republicans said we needed to pass the Senate Fiscal Cliff deal to take additional taxes “off the table?” When will they ever learn? This is the plan, every few months there is another ‘crisis’ that we must cave on that results in more spending with no meaningful cuts to entitlements. Remember, it’s Cliffs All The Way Down! http://cosmoscon.com/2012/12/06/its-cliffs-all-the-way-down/

  6. Well, you have to admire a guy who presides over financial failure resulting from overspending and is reelected proposing to cure the failure by ramping up spending, don’t you?
