About The Publisher

Dave “the Sage”

Publisher of The Conservative Citizen

Dave is everything that the Left hates; a happily married, heterosexual, white Christian male. A long time conservative activist, blogger, author, and columnist he resides in beautiful Northern Colorado and is the proud father of three daughters. “The Sage” is a sometimes philosopher, ideologue, and seer and always a tireless defender of the middle class, common sense, and the American way of life. As the son, grandson, and great-grandson of Ministers of the Gospel he brings a unique blended background of theology and ideology to the great debates of the day.

Dave’s articles have been featured on multiple radio programs including The G. Gordon Liddy Show. Various columns have appeared on over one hundred different blogs and websites and he is a regular contributor to numerous political commentary websites, news sites, and webzines. His article Concealed Carry and the Right of Self-Defense was recently published in the high school textbook “At Issue: Guns and Crime.”

Dave believes that Faith, Family, and Freedom is the formula for success and the key to a good life and a healthy nation.

The Conservative Citizen journal is his castle on the web from which to sally forth with his merry band of bloggers to fight the evils of destructive ideologies and a fortress from which to defend the Shining City on the Hill from the barbarous hordes of the modern age. He is a proud Paul Revere of the modern age warning the citizenry of the triple evils of progressivism, socialism, and statism that threaten the Republic.

Dave’s “day job” is working for a government contractor facilitating background investigations for national security clearances. You can now follow him on twitter at Dave@conclubsage,

  1. Dear Friend:

My name is Phil Sanderson. My name on WordPress is philsandersonwriter. I am a new writer with an action thriller currently on the market while hard at work on my second novel, a horror story. I tried to find a link where I could message you privately but was unsuccessful.

I am planning a Book Tour for my book, 2018: An Uncivil War, and am looking for partner bloggers who would like to write as guest bloggers on my blog Raw, Raving Rants from a Struggling Writer. The Book Tour will take place from next week until Labor Day 2014, the first year anniversary of the novel’s release. If interested, you can submit your articles to me on the Wednesdays (starting Aug. 6, 2014) before the Thursdays you will desire them to run. These posts will be made on my blog In return, for you running my articles, describing my novel.

Also, if you are interested, I will be more than happy to send you a complimentary PDF copy of my novel, 2018: An Uncivil War, in return for you sending me an e-mail address (where I can send the attachment) and also writing reviews of it on the Amazon and Barnes & Noble websites (I will send you the links with the PDF file).

I would appreciate if you could have the review posted by Sept. 1, 2014. But if you can post your review by Oct. 31, this will be perfectly suitable.

2018: An Uncivil War is a story that supporters of the Second Amendment are sure to love. It is simply about the 2nd American Civil War which begins promptly after the federal government repeals the Second Amendment. My purpose for writing the novel is to give a glimpse of what the United States of America would look like if this actually happened. The story follows the adventures of three different characters: two Marine Corps veterans (a detective and a gun club owner) and an army veteran who has since become a rock star. The novel is packed with action, romance, suspense, and intrigue.

I see no reason why we bloggers cannot help each other grow in popularity. I plan to become a bestselling author within the next 5 years. And I always remember my friends.

    Thank you for your consideration.

    Sincerely:
    Phil Sanderson
